What areas do you organize?
I will tackle anything from your children's playroom to your kitchen pantry. Just about any area of your home or office is covered. Take a look at my Portfolio to see some of my finished transformations. Then visit the Services page for a full listing of what I can offer. If you don't see it on the list, contact me and we can talk about it.
I don't even know where to start. Can you help me?
Yes! I can formulate a game plan to get everything under control in a way that will not only make sense, but will be motivating every step of the way!
What if I don't have time to get organized?
"For every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned." ~Benjamin Franklin
I love this quote because it is so true. It is very common for even ordinarily organized people to fall into disorganization because life can happen faster than you can keep up. The good news is that every area of your life that you get in order will end up saving you time, which you can then roll into the next area to get organized, which saves more time. Pretty soon, you will feel in control of your space and your schedule. I would love to help you not only organize your physical space, but also help you with time management and implementing efficient systems for your everyday tasks so that you can have more time for the things you enjoy. This may sound too good to be true, but it is possible and I know how to help you get there!
What will we do with all the stuff I don't want?
I can take care of that for you! I am happy to drop off your donations at Goodwill or Frisco Family Services. If you have another charity you prefer, just let me know. If you have children's items or women's clothing and accessories in good condition, I can consign them for you. I will send you the money you make and donate whatever items are left. I provide these services at no additional cost to you. When I leave your home or office, I want the project to be complete and ready for you to enjoy!
Will you help me maintain my space once it is organized?
Absolutely. I believe that organizing is much more than just moving your things into pretty containers. It's wonderful to see a clutter-free space at the end of a project, but it's just as important for you and your family to be able to maintain that order. Part of my process is to figure out how you need to use your space and determine the most efficient way for it to function. I will make sure you have a system in place to easily keep everything in order.
How long will it take?
It depends. There are many factors that affect how long a project will take such as the size of the room, the type of items being organized (for example, paperwork and keepsakes take longer than bathroom and pantry items), and how quickly the client is able to make decisions. I will provide a time estimate after the consultation and will make every effort to be accurate. I will keep you informed throughout the entire process to make sure we are on schedule.
Do I need to spend a lot of money on new containers?
It's totally up to you. We will discuss your vision and your budget and find a way to satisfy both. I believe that people are more likely to maintain a space that looks nice, but that does not mean it has to be expensive. It might be possible to shop your house for bins and boxes and not spend a dime. Some people prefer to start over with new, matching storage systems and that works great too. If you'd like me to do the shopping for you, I offer shopping assistance (see my Services page) or we can make a list of what is needed and you can pick it out yourself.
Will my sessions be confidential?
Of course! All meetings, conversations, and questions are between you and I, and no one else. To see other guidelines I stand by, please read the bottom section of my About page.
What are your rates?
Please see the Services page for details.
What payments are accepted?
I accept cash, check, many forms of digital payment, and major credit cards. Payment is due at the end of each work session (each day).
